Skin Contact:

In case of contact, immediately flush the affected skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Cover the irritated skin with Safety Gel C. Cold water may be used. Wash clothing before reuse and thoroughly clean shoes before reuse. Seek medical attention immediately.

Overexposure:

Caustic burns can cause severe scarring and serious tissue damage. Prolonged skin contact increases the extent of injury. Overexposure can result in inflammation, blistering, itching, scaling, reddening, or in severe cases, deep tissue damage.

Caustic Soda Antidote Gel:

Safety Gel C is a specialized antidote gel for caustic soda burns, available in 30g containers. Any person working with caustic soda should always carry or have access to Safety Gel C — one container at the workplace, one on their person, and one at home. For safety reasons, this product should be issued to all employees who may come in contact with caustic materials.

Storage:

Store in a refrigerator above 4°C and replace with fresh supply before the expiration date.
